- Max (Toran Caudell) is 12 years old. He is separated from his family while they're on vacation at the ancient Incan ruins of Machu Picchu. Alone and frightened, Max befriends a Peruvian boy, Juanito (Victor Rojas), who helps him reunite with his family. Max's adventure takes a dangerous turn, however, when the boys receive a priceless Incan mask from a dying man. Max must now not only escape the untamed Andes Mountains, but also evade capture by a group of menacing bandits.
