When Davis and his sidekick, Fuzzy (Al "Fuzzy" St. John), capture the outlaws, they collect reward money to distribute to the ranchers. But Fuzzy, who is in charge of delivering it, loses the money as well as his memory. Now it's up to Davis to set things right and prevent land baron Jim Kirby (George Chesebro) from getting his hands on the cash.
Cowboy Fuzzy (Al "Fuzzy" St. John) is riding in a stagecoach with young Jean (Patti McCarty), on his way to a business deal with her father. The coach is attacked by bandits, but luckily Fuzzy's buddy Billy Carson (Buster Crabbe) is in the vicinity, and he comes to the rescue, fending off the outlaws. Billy helps Jean get back home, only to learn that the bandits he's just thwarted have killed her father and pinned the crime on Fuzzy. Billy then must go after the real murderers.
